The quad bike has been stolen from a barn in between Glommersträsk and Jörn. It is alleged to have occurred during the night.

A report regarding the theft of means of transportation has been drawn up. The police are conducting a crime scene investigation.

Advice to reduce the risk of theft:

* Park the quad bike locked in a garage or on a well-lit area. Garage and area may be preferably alarmed, preferably with a camera.

* Store the car keys in a safe place, do not place them right next to the front door or in the jacket pocket.

* Use enhanced protection with the possibility of tracking in real-time, for example a GPS puck.

* Mark the quad bike with theft protection.

* Request a warning on your vehicle via the Transport Agency. In that way, organized gangs cannot get information about which vehicles are registered at your address.

* Cooperate with your neighbors, help each other to keep an eye out for unknown persons and vehicles.

* Report to the police if you have been subjected to theft attempts or theft.
