Under Wednesday afternoon, the police were alerted to a fire in a sauna north of Övertorneå.

The police are heading to the scene. An investigation into arson is initiated and a man is apprehended as a suspect in the case. After questioning, the prosecutor will decide whether he should be detained.

The area is cordoned off for technical examination. Investigation work is ongoing.
