An aggressive man entered the police reception in Gävle. The man was loud-mouthed towards the staff.
A police patrol was confronted with the man and he told that he had been subjected to a theft and wanted to report it to the police. He told that he had been to the police station in Sandviken on Sunday, May 18, to report the theft, but it did not go through then.
The police patrol received identification information on the man who had thrown stones at a police car in Sandviken on Sunday and it turned out to match the man they had in front of them.
The man in his 40s was arrested for rioting or vandalism and the prosecutor detained the man after the interrogation.
The investigation is led by a prosecutor at the Prosecution Authority in Gävle.
