Police were alerted to an address in Östervåla at 4 pm when it is suspected that a serious crime has occurred. Upon arrival, a deceased person is found in a residence. The police are conducting an investigation into murder.

A man in his 50s is apprehended near the scene. Various investigative measures, such as documentation of the scene and interviews, have been carried out.

Relatives of the deceased have been notified.

The police conclude that there is no danger to the public.
