A man contacted the police in English and said that he was standing outside the police station in Sandviken because he wanted to make a police report. While waiting for a patrol to come out and meet the man, he picked up a stone and threw it at the parked police car outside the entrance. The man then left the scene before the patrol could come out from the police station.

The police car suffered damage to the windshield and had to be replaced with another police car. No one suspected in the matter is currently known, and the case is being investigated as either blue light sabotage or vandalism.
