During the day, the police have received numerous calls from people who have received SMS from, among other things, "cleaning companies" that have offered to come to their home addresses to perform some type of service, such as window cleaning.

In previous cases, it has also been seen how the scammers who claim to represent the cleaning firm contact the same private individual again – but then they claim to be the police. At that point, they try to inform the person that the cleaning service they were offered is a scam, and that the police will visit the victim to secure valuable items.

It is important that you DO NOT let unknown people into your home. If you have received a similar SMS regarding a service you did not book, you should contact the company they claim to represent – all to be completely sure you are not being deceived.
