Summary of the police's work during Springmeet in Östersund.

The police's intervention has been carried out by uniformed police officers, civilian police officers, traffic police, UAS pilots, neighborhood police officers, etc. There have been very many people out in central parts of Östersund, with the largest gatherings around Max/Bangårdsgatan and Circle K on Krondikesvägen. The atmosphere has been good among the visitors despite the high level of intoxication.

During the evening, the police have distributed approximately 100 Obot (fines), set up a report regarding drug-related intoxication and conducted ten flying inspections of vehicles.

27 people have been taken into custody according to the LOB (Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons). Of these, seven were under 18 years old.

Four reports have been filed regarding assault, one report regarding sexual harassment and two offenses against the alcohol law. Two cars have been seized by the enforcement officer, several wage seizures have been initiated, and a large number of alarm reports have been written to Social Services.

In summary, the police have had a lot to do, but no case has been out of the ordinary at this type of event.
