Since midnight, three people in Umeå have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons, one was handed over to friends. One of the individuals taken into custody is suspected of minor narcotics offenses through personal use.

Two people were also taken into custody in Skellefteå and one in Lycksele.

Police are ordered to the center due to an accident involving an electric bicycle. One person is taken to medical care by ambulance, the extent of the damage is unknown. The police do not file a report regarding the accident, there is no suspicion of a crime.

Police stop and inspect a car on Västra Strandgatan, west of the city. A fine is issued for driving ban. 

04:53 Severe assault, Skellefteå
Police receive information that an assault is alleged to have taken place indoors at an address in Skellefteå. A man is alleged to have been assaulted by another man. The suspect, a man in his 30s, is arrested suspected of severe assault. The complainant is taken to medical care, the extent of the damage is unknown. After questioning, the prosecutor will decide whether the suspect should be detained.
