At 03.00, a patrol sees a man who appears to need help in central Eskilstuna. The man is bleeding and appears to have been injured. At a check in the police's CCTV monitoring center, it can be confirmed that an assault occurred near the city library at 02.40. The injured man is taken to the hospital for treatment. He has no life-threatening injuries. A report of assault has been made, where the perpetrator is currently unknown. 

At 04.00, the police are alerted to a tractor that has driven off the road and driven into a pedestrian tunnel in Femöresund in Oxelösund. The driver, a girl in her upper teenage years, has some injuries but is awake and able to speak. She is taken to the hospital for examination. No crime is suspected in connection with the accident.

At 05.00, the police are called to a business on Kungsgatan in central Eskilstuna as a passerby reports that a large window is shattered. The building is said to contain machinery and tools. There is no person on the scene, an investigation of the crime scene is conducted. A report of theft through burglary has been made, but it is currently unclear if anything has been taken.
