The regional police headquarters has handled around 80 cases related to Södermanland County between 22.00-07.00.
At 22.30, the police were alerted to a disturbance in an apartment in Nyfors in Eskilstuna. According to the alert, several people are involved, and screams and sounds of objects being thrown can be heard. The police arrive at the scene and find four people, two men and two women. One of the women, in her mid-20s, is suspected of assault on the other woman, who is in her early 20s. No one has been seriously injured. The people involved are reportedly known to each other.
At 01.30, the police were alerted to a pub in Nyköping's city center where a man became violent towards a security guard. The security guard is not seriously injured. The man, in his early 20s, is suspected of violence against a public official and has been taken into custody in accordance with the Law on Emergency Assistance (LOB).
At 02.00, the police were alerted to a traffic accident on Tingstuhöjden in Strängnäs, where a car crashed into a lamppost. No one has been injured. When the police arrive at the scene, no one is left in the car. A report of reckless driving, with an unknown perpetrator, has been filed.
At 02.30, the police were alerted to a store in central Gnesta. An employee had been inside the store when three unknown people threw stones through a windowpane and then ran away. When the police are called, the people ran away. The police have been on the scene and conducted an interview with the employee, and filed a report of vandalism.
