Two people were detained earlier in the week as suspects for a crime. This has since led to a police search operation at a green area in Åby outside Norrköping on Friday afternoon. In connection with the work in the green area, a deceased person is found, who is assessed to be the woman who was reported missing. The woman's closest relatives have been informed about the discovery, and that it is likely that it is her who was found. After this, the suspicions of a crime have weakened, and the two people who were arrested as suspects are now released on bail. The investigation is still ongoing, and further details about this will not be disclosed from the police's side at present out of respect for the relatives. The prosecutor is leading the ongoing investigation.
