Police and ambulance are alerted to Trädgårdsgatan due to a man being assaulted with some form of sharp object.

Police patrols are on the scene and have cordoned off the suspected crime scene, which is outdoors on Trädgårdsgatan.

A man in his 50s has been apprehended in connection with the scene.

The victim is being taken to hospital by ambulance.
