The police receive an alarm from a vigilant public who see a car being driven in a reckless and non-road-safe manner on National Highway 50 from Motala towards Mjölby. Several patrols go on the case and it becomes a motorcycle police officer who finally can stop the car inside Mjölby thanks to the information from the caller.

The driver, a woman in her 30s, blows positively in the breathalyzer and is allowed to follow along for blood testing. She is now suspected of drunk driving.

The police are grateful for these tips. Drunk driving is behind countless deaths and injuries, and has caused so much suffering.
