A man is suspected of theft in a store and when staff try to stop him in anticipation of the police, it is alleged that he tries to leave the place on an electric scooter.

In connection with the incident, a store employee is injured.

The man is suspected of a number of crimes. He is to accompany for sampling as he is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics. The electric scooter is suspected to be able to be driven at higher speeds than allowed and the man lacks driving license entitlement.

A report is made regarding theft, assault, unauthorized driving, driving under the influence of narcotics and minor narcotics offenses. The electric scooter is seized for technical examination.
