Police sirens sounded at the hospital in Västervik where a patient was brought in by ambulance. The man was found outside a truck at a sawmill in Vimmerby where the ambulance was called. The man died at the hospital, his relatives have been informed.

Police have been on the scene at the truck and have carried out investigative measures and interviewed witnesses. The matter will be investigated as a workplace accident, a report on culpable homicide has been filed. No one has been given suspicion of a crime.
