Police receive an emergency call from Nyckelviken about a person who has fallen into the water. The coastal police rescue the person from the water.
The woman has probably slipped with her walker over steep cliffs into the water along a promenade path. The coastal police with a boat and crew were a few bays away from the accident site and could quickly be on the scene. With the help of a rescue ladder, the woman was pulled out of the water by a policeman.
Since the terrain was rugged, an ambulance was ordered to Nacka beach where the severely chilled woman was transported by boat, and then the woman was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The woman was 95 years old.
