
It has been a rather chaotic Friday night in the county. Below follows a selection of events that we have handled.
Arson, Laxå 10:28 PM
A teenage girl is suspected of setting fire in her room at a residence. In connection with this, she also assaulted a member of staff who was taken to hospital for treatment of facial injuries. The suspected girl was apprehended and after questioning a prosecutor decided that she should remain in custody and she is now being held on remand. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
Assault, Lindesberg 12:10 AM
A 35-year-old man was subjected to assault by several unknown individuals in the city center. The police were on the scene without finding any suspected individuals. The patrol took the assaulted man to hospital for examination and possible treatment.
Assault, Örebro 1:45 AM
A 30-year-old man was subjected to an assault by several unknown individuals in the city. There is no information that the assaulted man needed emergency medical care.
Assault, Askersund 3:02 AM
A 35-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were subjected to assault by a woman in the city center. The suspected woman is currently not identified. Emergency personnel examined the assaulted woman but she did not need to be taken to hospital.
Aside from this, we have handled several cases of violence in close relationships, handled four suspected cases of drunk driving, checked 31 individuals or vehicles, handled two wildlife accidents without personal injury, taken three people into custody according to the LOB, the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons, and handled six cases of mental illness.
