The man who was clearly under the influence of drugs has punched and slapped the elderly woman and also been aggressive towards passersby.

The perpetrator was completely unknown to the woman.

When the police patrols arrived at the scene, they could apprehend the man after a short chase. He is suspected of grievous bodily harm.

The elderly woman is now being examined by medical personnel on the scene, and it is unclear whether she needs hospital care.
