The police regional command center has handled around 110 cases between 22.00-07.00 that concern Jönköping County.

22:53 The police were alerted to a residence in Vetlanda due to a woman being allegedly beaten by a man she has a relationship with. The man is also said to have pulled the woman by the hair. When the police arrived at the scene, a 35-year-old man was apprehended suspected of assault.

00:03 SOS alarm about a traffic accident on county road 152 outside Skillingaryd, Vaggeryd. According to the alarm, a driver ended up in a ditch. The driver, a 30-year-old man, followed with an ambulance for a check-up and stated that he had braked for an elk. The police have spoken with the driver at the hospital and there is no suspicion of a crime.

In addition, the police have had cases of mental illness, intoxication, crime prevention work, traffic offenses, game accidents, SOS alarms about grass/terrain fires as well as numerous checks on their own initiative or after a call from the public that did not lead to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
