The police command center has handled a 120 incidents in Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.
About 20 people in the county have been taken into custody for intoxication or removed from the scene.
Nyköping, 23:53: A boy in his upper teenage years is to be taken into custody from Vallgatan according to LOB as he is intoxicated. The boy is putting up strong resistance and is now suspected of violent resistance. The boy is handed over to the guardians.
Eskilstuna, 01:24: Police are called to a restaurant on Fristadstorget due to a fight. Initial reports indicate that one person has locked themselves in a toilet because someone is threatening. The police arrive at the scene and find the people involved. The affected person is a 25-year-old man. The suspect is an 18-year-old man, who is suspected of unlawful threats. He is also taken into custody according to LOB.
Nyköping, 01:35: A 30-year-old man is to be taken into custody according to LOB from Östra Storgatan in Nyköping. The man is putting up strong resistance and also utters threats against the police officers. He is arrested, suspected of violent resistance and threats against a public official.
Nyköping, 02:19: Police are called about a traffic accident on Lenningsvägen in Nyköping. A moped has collided with a lamppost. The driver is a girl in her upper teenage years. No one has been injured. The accident is being investigated as reckless driving.
02:31: Police stop a light truck in Mariefred, which is being driven by young people. In the vehicle sits a 15-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man who are intoxicated. It is unclear who was driving the vehicle and both people are therefore suspected of gross drunk driving. The younger one is also suspected of unauthorized driving.
Eskilstuna 02:37: Police stop and check a passenger car in Snopptorp. The driver, a 30-year-old woman, lacks a driver's license and is intoxicated. She is now suspected of unauthorized driving and drunk driving. She also has a knife-like object on her and is suspected of a crime against the knife law.
