Reports came in about a driver hitting a wild boar on county road 596 near Uttersberg. Due to the fact that wild boar is one of the species belonging to the state's game, the police were deployed to collect the animal. There are no reports of personal injuries in connection with the accident.

The species belonging to the state's game fall to the state when they die and the person who finds such an animal should report it to the police so that the animal is taken care of. The purpose is to protect endangered, rare, and particularly valuable species.
