Police and rescue services are alerted to the Östantill area due to reports of a fire in a building.

6:16 PM - The fire should be extinguished. However, there will be a lot of smoke in the affected staircase.
Residents are advised to close windows and doors and stay indoors in their apartments and await further information from the police and rescue services.

6:28 PM - The site will be cordoned off. Keep a distance from rescue teams and police personnel so that they can perform their duties. No one has been injured in the fire. The police are currently working intensively on gathering information.

6:55 PM -  Some residents in the building are sheltered on their balconies.
The reason for this is that it is not suitable to be in the staircase at present due to the smoke.
There is no danger to the public to be on the site. There is therefore no reason for concern for those who are in or near the staircase.
