At 13.02, police and ambulance were alerted to Årrenjarka due to a snowmobile accident. According to reports, the snowmobile lost traction and a person flew off.

The person involved is reportedly a 50-year-old woman.

An ambulance from Jokkmokk was dispatched to the scene and the woman was taken to Gällivare hospital for examination, where police also arrived.

Initial reports indicate that the woman suffered some form of arm fracture.

After questioning the woman, a report of a traffic accident was written without suspicion of a crime.
