A police patrol would stop a car on Skälängsgatan, but the driver chose initially not to stop at the police officer's signal. On a nearby street, the police were able to stop the car and the driver, a man in his 30s, was suspected of, among other things, gross negligence in traffic, gross drunk driving and for not stopping at the police officer's signal.

He was taken into custody according to the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons (LOB).
