12:59 AM, Örnsköldsvik
The police were contacted regarding a man with a weapon. He was found a few minutes later.
The man, who is in his mid-30s, was arrested. He is suspected of violating the knife law and attempted robbery. An interrogation will be held with the suspect in the morning. The prosecutor will then make a decision on whether he should be detained or not.
1:55 AM, Sundsvall
Alarm about a fire in a building. It is reported to be smoke development.
The people in the building have gotten out. The fire was extinguished.
A report regarding the fire, without suspicion of a crime, was made.
2:20 AM, Härnösand
The police were ordered to the center due to assault.
A suspected person was arrested a little while later. An interrogation was held.
The incident was classified as severe assault.
Summary of the police's work during Kramfors stadsfest
The police have had a good cooperation with security guards, the coast guard, the social services' field group and the rescue service during the evening and night.
According to reports, 35 people were turned away and eight people were removed from the area (by security guards). The police patrols have mainly worked with incidents outside the area. Among other things, some motorized youth have gathered on parking lots adjacent to the festival area.
The police have taken eight people into custody with the support of the LOB, the law on the detention of intoxicated persons, of which six have been placed in police custody for sobering up. Three intoxicated minors have also been found and handed over to the social services' field group. In addition, around 10 people were turned away from the central parts of Kramfors.
Three cases of assault outside the festival area have been handled.
