Here follow a selection of the night's events:

01.49 Assault, Umeå:
Police are contacted about an assault at a bar in central Umeå. A man is alleged to have assaulted another. A police patrol is ordered to the scene.

No information is available that the injured man needed medical care. The suspected man, who is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics, is taken into custody in accordance with the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons.

A complaint is filed regarding assault and minor narcotics offense (personal use).

01.50 Harassment, Skellefteå:
A police patrol notices a brawl in central Skellefteå. A woman is being aggressive towards other people. The police talk to the people involved and file a complaint regarding harassment.

Other:
Ten people have, in addition to the above, been taken into custody for intoxication. One of these is suspected of violent resistance and threats against a public official in connection with the detention.

The police have also performed a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
