The past month has seen a number of thefts and attempted thefts of valuable cars in the South region. The cars, various models of Lexus and Toyota RAV4, have been stolen from garage entrances at villas or from parking lots near multi-family dwellings. The police suspect that the plan for the cars was to transport them abroad.

There is reason to believe that several of the cars have not yet been able to be taken out of the country and the police are therefore interested in observations of cars bearing the marks Lexus or Toyota RAV4 that have been parked for a longer period. The cars could be parked in residential areas or on slightly larger parking lots. Observations from Helsingborg, Växjö, and Malmö and surrounding areas are deemed to be most interesting.
