The past month has seen a number of thefts and attempted thefts of valuable cars in the South region. The cars, various models of Lexus and Toyota RAV4, have been stolen from garage entrances at villas or from parking lots near apartment buildings. The police suspect that the plan for the cars was to transport them abroad.

There is reason to believe that several of the cars have not yet been able to be taken out of the country and the police are therefore interested in observations of cars with the brands Lexus or Toyota RAV4 that have been parked for a longer period. The cars could be parked in villa districts or on slightly larger residential parking lots. Observations from Helsingborg, Växjö and Malmö and surrounding areas are considered to be most interesting.
