Police have handled a 30 cases in Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the police's knowledge.

The traffic situation during the night has been good, no traffic accidents have occurred that have become a police concern, and three reported wild animal accidents (wild boar/deer) without personal injuries.

04:36 Burglary - Eskilstuna

Alarm comes in from a company in Kjula that several people have entered the premises. The thieves are interrupted by a security guard and flee in a car from the scene. In connection with this, they throw out nails to prevent pursuit. The police have searched the area but at the moment, there is no arrested person in the case, which is classified as aggravated theft and blue light sabotage.

There are reports that cars have gotten punctures due to the nails. The Swedish Transport Administration has been contacted and warns of caution on road 920 between Stenkvistarondellen and Hällberga as well as road 899 between the airport and traffic junction Kjula.

Alarm comes in from a restaurant in central Eskilstuna where a man has entered illegally. Patrol goes to the scene but the man has disappeared. He has searched the premises but it is currently unclear if he has taken any stolen goods with him. The premises will be examined by technicians during the day.
