A passerby alerted the police after reacting to an object that was outside a door on Nybrogatan. The police have cordoned off the area around the discovery site as it is currently not possible to rule out that the object is harmless.

The police's national bomb squad has been ordered to the scene.

The police are asking people in the nearest building to stay away from windows during the time the work is being carried out on the scene.
