Police have been contacted regarding an assault at an address in Piteå. A woman is reported to have been assaulted by another woman. The complainant is taken to medical care, the extent of the injury is unknown. During the night, the police arrested the suspect, a woman in her 20s. She is suspected of, among other things, gross assault and unlawful threats. After questioning, the prosecutor has decided to detain her. The parties involved are not entirely unknown to each other, according to available information.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man during the night who is suspected of having broken into a house outside Arjeplog without permission. The suspicion concerns gross home invasion as well as vandalism and reckless endangerment of the public. The man is reported to have committed vandalism in the house and slept with the stove on. After questioning, the prosecutor will decide whether he should be detained or released on bail.
