Immediately after 7:00 pm, the police were alerted by the public after hearing one or more loud bangs in Stenkulla in Nyköping. As a result of the alarm, several units were sent to the area to investigate what may have caused the sounds. At present, nothing has been found that suggests a crime. Neither have any injured persons been found. Witnesses' statements will be collected to gain more clarity on what happened. 

Update 19:57: After checks in the area, no crime scene has been found. No suspicions of a crime have arisen. The police have therefore begun to wind down the operation.
