Thefts and attempts have taken place in Nacka, Järfälla, Solna, Danderyd, Upplands Bro and on Kungsholmen in Stockholm.

The methods vary but it is always about the victim receiving an SMS or a call about a fabricated problem - about a payment that has not gone through, about a debt, about a booked car or other service. 

The introduction always deals with a fabricated problem that the caller then has to 'solve' or help with arranging. 

Throughout: Never leave out cards or card information or log in to Bank-Id on the caller's request. Do not let an unknown person into the home unless it is a service you yourself have ordered or know about. 

It is important that everyone talks to friends and relatives about the fact that thefts are constantly ongoing and that the thieves can be very credible.
