The police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a total of 120 cases related to Östergötland County.

22:13 SOS alarm about a fire in a dumpster on Pionjärgatan in Linköping. According to the alarm, it involved smoke and no flames. Police have been on the scene and a report of damage by fire will be written. There is no suspect.

02:14 Police were alerted to a grocery store on Rekrytgatan in Linköping due to an activated break-in alarm. When the police arrived at the scene, there was no perpetrator left. A window to the entrance had been smashed but it is unclear if stolen goods had disappeared. A report of theft through break-in will however be written anyway.

In addition, the police have had cases of drunkenness, mental illness, traffic offenses, traffic controls, wildlife accidents and various other checks on their own initiative or after an alarm from the public that did not lead to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
