West of the city, the police are checking a man on a moped. The man blows positively in the police's screening device. He is suspected of gross drunk driving and is to follow the police for further sampling. A report is prepared. The police take the man's driver's license and vehicle keys.

City center, the police are alerted to a man who appears to be breaking side mirrors on cars as he passes by. The police arrive and can find the man. Damaged side mirrors are found on two cars and damaged windshield wipers on a third. The man is suspected of three cases of vandalism. A report is prepared.

Summary of the police's work at Summertime Skellefteå, Friday:

On Friday evening, Summertime had around 6,000-6,500 visitors, and the police's assessment is that it has been a fine event with many happy visitors.

During the evening, reports have been made regarding two cases of assault, one case of attempted assault, one case of drunk driving, and one case of theft. Ten people have been taken into custody in accordance with the LOB (Act on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons). Three people have been warned off the area and one person has been removed. One person has been fined for disturbing behavior due to loud music and three have been fined for disturbing behavior due to public urination.

The patrols have, in addition to this, held four traffic controls near the festival area.

Overall, the atmosphere has been good. The Red Cross has done a good job and has, among other things, helped some visitors who were over-refreshed. The security guards have worked hard and done a good job!

The police see, however, that even this year there is a problem with over-refreshed young people. A message to parents is therefore to talk to their children about the dangers of drinking and/or narcotics and the consequences it can entail. The police also urge parents to keep in touch with their children and be prepared to pick them up. The police see that at least one parent needs to be sober and available by phone if you know that your child is out at the festival.

During Bolagets performance, the band themselves took a break in the performance when they saw some men gruff and spit at each other. They spoke to them from the stage and the performance could then continue. Very good done by Bolaget!
