Ambulance personnel alert the police when they, after an alarm, encounter an unconscious woman in a residence. They suspect that she has been battered by her boyfriend.

The injured woman is taken to hospital. The police hold an interrogation with the ambulance personnel, who were the first to arrive at the residence. 

The man, who is in his 20s, is arrested suspected of grievous bodily harm.
