Police are being sent to Malmövägen where a car and an excavator have collided. Two adults and three small children have been traveling in the car, unknown injury status. 

Update 17:35: The road is closed in both directions.

Update 17:49: The car has driven into a trailer being towed by the excavator. The process of evacuating the people from the car is underway. The work at the scene is expected to be completed preliminarily around 18:30. 

Update 17:56: One adult person has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The work to free the others continues. 

Update 17:57: The accident is causing major disruptions to traffic. 

Update 17:58: One of the children has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
