The alarm sounded at 07.45 about a woman who had been assaulted in a residence in Märsta and that the perpetrator was still on the scene.

The police were ordered to the address and it then became clear that the man had hit the woman several times and that she was likely to have been unconscious. The man was apprehended and had to follow to the station.

The extent of the woman's injuries is currently unknown.
