Good morning. Here follows a selection of the police's activities last night.

The police's regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a total of 90 cases related to Södermanland County.

Despite the large number of cases, the night's work has mainly dealt with routine cases.

At 23.30, police are alerted to the Öster area in Katrineholm. A man is said to have been subjected to a robbery attempt by three, for him, unknown persons. The persons are said to have approached him and tried to force him to hand over valuables. The incident is said to have occurred near a staircase. The perpetrators then ran from the scene without getting any valuables. Police have been on the scene and searched for the perpetrators but not found anyone. The affected man is in his 40s and is not seriously injured. A report of attempted robbery has been drawn up. 

At midnight, police are alerted to a suspected break-in at a school on Smedjegatan in Eskilstuna city center. Security guards are already on the scene and have found an unauthorized person in the school. Police have conducted a crime scene investigation and searched the premises. The person found by the security guards is a man in his 30s who is now suspected of theft through burglary. It is unclear what was taken.

At 01.00, police are alerted to a fight on Terassen, Eskilstuna. Police interrupt the fight. Then more people join and a fight breaks out again, and police have to intervene again. A man in his 20s is removed from the scene, and a man in his 25s is said to have been threatened, which is why a report of aggravated assault has been drawn up.
