On county road 576 outside Kungsör, a police patrol decides to stop and check a vehicle.

The driver, a man in his early twenties, however refuses to stop and a pursuit begins and continues at occasional high speeds.

After having lost sight of the car, it is found a short time later parked.

The driver, who turns out to be heavily intoxicated, is apprehended in accordance with the law on apprehension of intoxicated persons. He is suspected of gross negligence in traffic and driving under the influence of alcohol.
