June 19, 16.45, Dangerous object, suspected, Södertälje

Police are on the scene in Brunnsäng due to a found object that at present cannot be dismissed as harmless. The object was found outdoors near a multi-family house. The alarm came in at 16.45 after a private person found the object. 

Police have cordoned off the area and will ensure that residents in the houses nearest the object stay indoors during the time the police are working at the scene.

National Bomb Protection will come to the scene and investigate the object.

Update at 17.40
National Bomb Protection assesses that it is not a dangerous object. In other words, there is no danger to the public. The police will therefore reduce the cordons.
