Kiruna, mountain rescuers help people who have been injured.
Information is received that a woman has slipped and injured her ankle on a hiking trail outside Abisko. The police officer on duty decides on mountain rescue according to the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents.
Mountain rescuers are called out. They make their way to the woman, fix her ankle and help her to a helicopter.
The helicopter takes the woman to Abisko where a road ambulance is waiting for further transport to medical care.
