The police received information shortly before 11.30 today that a man had hit a woman. The incident was said to have occurred in Inner Harbour in Sundsvall.

The work on the matter was started immediately and it led to a man being arrested suspected of having assaulted the woman, whom he has a relationship with.

After interrogation, the prosecutor has decided to detain the man, who is in his 45s.
