Alarm is received about a fire at a detached house in Sävsjö. Police and rescue services are quickly on the scene and can determine that the fire was started with some form of flammable liquid. The fire has not taken hold in the actual house and can be quickly extinguished. A person is apprehended by a dog handler a short distance from the scene. It is a person under 18 years and this person is now detained suspected of attempted arson.

06:16 Traffic accident, Aneby.

A traffic accident with two passenger cars occurs on county road 132 at Bälaryd west of Aneby. One passenger car collides with the other from behind and the road is partially blocked. No one is injured in the accident where two people in their 20s are involved. The driver of the colliding car receives a fine for not keeping a safe distance from the preceding car.
