Good morning. Here follows a selection of last night's matters.

The police's regional command center has handled around 60 cases between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM that concern Södermanland County.

At 2:30 AM, the police checks a man on Källgatan in Strängnäs as the man urinates outdoors. The man, who is in his mid-20s, chooses not to accept a fine for public urination. The fine amount is 800 kronor. The case will therefore be investigated and then submitted to the district court. The man is also taken into custody according to the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons and is taken to the police station.

At 3:15 AM, the police are supposed to take into custody a drunk man in his 40s in Eskilstuna city center. The man puts up strong resistance and several patrols are called to the scene. The man can then be taken into custody according to the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons. He is also suspected of violent resistance and breach of the knife law as he possessed a knife item in a public place.

At 4:00 AM, the police are alerted to central Eskilstuna, where a restaurant discovered vandalism. On the scene, it can be seen that a windowpane is smashed. There are no people on the scene. The police have been on the scene and drawn up a report on vandalism. At present, there is no suspect.
