June 18 07.19, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

22.59 Drug offence, Östersund:
Police patrol checks a man in central Östersund. The man is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and is to be taken in for a blood test. On the man, suspected narcotics and some type of sharp object are found and seized.

A report is filed regarding a minor drug offence (use and possession) and a serious offence against the knife law.

Other:
Police have handled a case in Krokoms municipality during the night where a man in a residence is suspected of having assaulted a woman with whom he has a relationship. The man is arrested. There is no information that the woman needed to be taken to hospital care. Police are working with initial investigative measures such as interrogations.

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
