Children drove electric scooter too fast - parent suspected of crime
At 13.30, a patrol in Gislaved's urban area sees a youth riding an electric scooter too fast. In order to be allowed to ride an electric scooter in public traffic, it must be designed for a maximum of 20 km/h.
The youth, who is under 15, is stopped. The electric scooter is seized and a report of unauthorized driving is drawn up. The child's parent is suspected of permitting unauthorized driving.
Permitting unauthorized driving is a traffic offense, which means that the suspect has allowed a person to operate a vehicle that the person is not allowed to operate.
