An industrial accident has occurred at a factory in Smedjebacken.
A male employee has been given a heavier metal object to handle in connection with work, as a result of which crushing injuries have occurred on the lower body. The man is awake and able to speak but will be taken to hospital by ambulance for care.
Police are on the scene to investigate what has happened.
