An adult person has been shot in Hässelby villastad. The person is being taken to hospital by ambulance and the first reports state that the person was awake and able to speak. At present, there are no further details on the extent of the injuries.

A search is underway for the perpetrator or perpetrators, with the police helicopter among the participating units. 

The crime scene is cordoned off and the investigation is ongoing, including forensic analysis and interviewing witnesses.

An investigation into attempted murder has been initiated.
