Police were alerted to an address in connection with a man in his 70s being subjected to a robbery.

The incident is said to have occurred a short time earlier, at Kirsebergs Square. 

According to initial reports, a woman, unknown to the man, has delivered blows and forced herself to obtain the victim's bank card.  She then left the scene in a car.

Police patrol has been on the scene and spoken with the affected person and searched for the perpetrator. 

No perpetrator has been found. A report of robbery is being prepared. 

No ambulance is needed for the victim.
